Launch of the new:-

"Corporate Partnership Programme"

On October 6th 2011 the Grand Hotel in Eastbourne kindly hosted and sponsored the launch of a new service by "People Matter" to local employers.

The scheme seeks to provide a search facility for businesses to identify potential employees through our extensive database of local people seeking employment and also to provide a monthly bulletin to businesses of people who clearly have considerable experience, skills, qualifications etc to offer.

Speaking at the launch event, Stephen Lloyd MP, a long-time supporter of the charity, said "I am delighted to support "People Matter" in the launch of their new "Corporate Partnership Programme", which adds an innovative new cost effective way for local businesses to find job candidates at many different levels, from such a large and diverse pool of available talent."   Other speakers included Christina Ewbank, the President of the Eastbourne and District Chamber of Commerce, Keith Ridley the Editor-in-Chief of the Eastbourne Herald and Gazette and the General Manager of the Grand Hotel Jonathan Webley.

Peter Moore the General Manager of People Matter said " This programme is an example of another exciting new initiative to support our clients, and the business community by saving them recruitment costs and H.R time and resources, whilst also proving a new source of much needed funds for the charity to enable us to support the growing numbers of unemployed in our community"

Local businesses that are interested in learning about how they can benefit from joining the programme should contact People Matter on 431 289 or email peter@people-matter.org.uk
