People Matter

Our Founder

Sandy Medway reached a crossroads in life during 1996 and sought career guidance help but discovered the type of help required simply wasn't available.

With the help of some close friends she discovered the advice needed but then decided as a committed Christian to ask God what she should do with the rest of her life, "Go tell people they matter" was what she heard. The rest, they say, is history.

In 1997 "People Matter" was founded on the Christian principles of 'love they neighbour' and the 'good samariton' with the aim that no one misses an opportunity to work due to lack of help or someone to talk things over with.

Sandy currently works for the 'local church' in her capacity as Personal Assistant to the Bishop of Lewes and as a volunteer Coordinator for Community Action under Hope for Eastbourne and Churches Together.
